Author notes:Â Â Donner is a classic map from Day Of Defeat, i recreated it for Red Orchestra 2 and here it is for Rising Storm 2: Vietnam! A few changes have been made versus the previous version, a sewer has been added below the main street and a few more buildings are open now! To fit more in with the Vietnamese theme of the game, the map is now named Don-Singh!

Author notes:Â Â One of Operation Lam Son 719 missions were to drop AVRN and few US troops to three landing zones. This mission required many casualties. One landing zone was called LZ Lolo. This maps follows that landing.
Map is designed closely to real life location. Some creative freedom is taken to make gameplay more fun. Look at map layout and compere it to the real life images.
9 point supremacy map with helicopters.
3 spawn points for NVA, 3 spawns for US plus changing dynamic forward spawns to make travel easier on this large map.
GAMEPLAY TIPS!——–>
NVA must capture C and D points before they can enter B and A points. When captured US forward spawns will move backwards to the base. And when US retake those spawns will move back.
NVA has objective point advance, US goal is to cut those links by capturing LZ Lolo. USE choppers to land the zones.
There are 3 landing zones, one in middle of the map at the hill, on H capture point(LZ Lolo), easiest one on right side of the map on the field.
My point is, because it takes me many minutes (in most cases) to downolad a map, when a new map is added in the server, I go to the steam workshop and subscribe to it.
This allows me (and others) to keep downloading/updating new versions while I browse internet or the pc is idle.
Just that… I have been subscribing in sws to every map has been posted, in order to have everything ready when I start playing ^^
A good idea is to subscribe in the Steam Workshop to [40-1] Status Quo’s Workshop as they include much the same maps as PBS server and it is updated regularly. 😎
It would be cool to see a PBS collection on Steam Workshop but I guess it would be something extra for Powerbits to maintain
